Thank you! The belt slipped off the motor and i didn't know how to get into it, this helped me a ton with that access panel right away !
In the end of the day I found that the belt in my 15 yo stackable Frigidaire was fine, but screws holding drum to the center fell out. That caused the dryer to stop completely and it was impossible to move the drum one way or another. What is interesting, native screws did not match well to holes, they were size bigger, so I replaced them with smaller size screws.

all u need 2 do is remove top lid, gently push dryer face out, slide belt down and lasso drum while sliding belt to the rear, put belt over pulleys as described in video, spin to align belt, reassemble

Why should I detach the vent, water supply and so on? It seems it did not have relevance to replacing the belt itself. If you mean safety precautions, did power disconnect solve the problem?

A friend tried to help me replace the dryer element from the rear thinking it comes out that way. Much to his surprise when I showed him your video. Except I now have a approx. 6" pc of metal he said came off the back side but doesn't remember where it was mounted! HELP!!!
